Need Help with NYT Strands #217? Here’s a Solution
We are back with the new hints, answers, and updates for NYT Strands. The Strands puzzle from the New York Times is a word puzzle game of the classic word search. It can be easily found on the NYT Games app and played alongside games like Wordle and Connections.
Every day, a new Strands game is available for the players. You will be given a six-by-eight grid of letters to play with in the game. The goal is to identify a set of words that share a common theme; you will be able to figure out what that theme is. A theme word will always be highlighted in blue when you successfully find it.
Additionally, you will need to look for a unique word known as a spangram. It shows similarities between the words. The spangram may begin or finish anywhere on the board, but it will always connect at least two sides. The spangram can be a proper name, even though the theme words won’t be. The spangram will stay highlighted in yellow until you locate it.
Each letter appears once in a spangram and is one of the theme words. Besides connecting characters horizontally, vertically, and diagonally, you can also change directions within a word. You need to double-tap the final letter to submit your guess if you are using a touchscreen.
